You could either do individual paintings, or create an autumn forest.
The first picture was the example we did in the toddler group- photocopied A4 tree, then used finger paints. The second I did with my children at home. We used normal ready made paints for the leaves.
What you need:
- brown, orange, red, yellow and green ready mix paint
- paint trays
- brushes for those who want to paint their own trunk
- sugar paper- I used a roll of old wall paper
Preparation:
- I painted a tree outline first, but older ones may be able to do this themselves.
How to create your picture:
The children used their fingers to decorate the tree with autumnal colours. They really enjoyed this.
