This is one of those activities where the process of the painting is better than the result! I took the photo while the painting was wet. When the paints dried, the colours faded quite a bit. Still, the children really enjoyed it (and a fair bit of dribble ended up on their final masterpieces!)
What you need:
- black paper
- ready mix paints in bright firework colours
- drinking straws
- spoons
How to paint your picture:
You need to experiment with the paints. If they are good quality, thick paints, you may need to add some water- not too much, or the colours will be too weak. We spooned the paint onto the picture, then blew down the straw to make the paints run.
