Some children made an abstract spaghetti picture painting. Some mums painted a face, and the children added spaghetti hair. I made a spaghetti train picture for Rowan to paint. Some of the younger babies just enjoyed the feel of the spaghetti, so was more of a sensory activity.
Preparation:
Cook spaghetti in boiling water for only about 5 minutes.
Drain and leave to cool.
The spaghetti will be pliable, but still be starchy and sticky.
Creating your spaghetti picture:
Place the spaghetti on paper. It should stick with no glue.
Decorate with paint.
Make a mess and have fun!
