I saw this at a local Sure start group, and I have copied it several times! It’s messy, but very popular.
What you need:
- fruit and vegetables that will have an interesting texture. We used sweetcorn, peppers, broccoli, onions and oranges. There were also a few leaves.
- paint
- paint brushes
- paint pots (large margarine tubs)
- pasta shapes
- material- or paper
Preparation:
I cut up the vegetables the night before as when they dry out, the texture is more interesting. The sweetcorn was cut up into disks. Some had wooden dowelling poked into each end to turn into a rolling pin. The example has been printed on cream coloured cotton fabric, but you could use paper.
