This is such an easy painting for babies and very young children. An old favourite. I remember doing butterfly paintings when I was little! Lovely to do in the spring and summer. Cut out, they make a lovely display.
Simply fold your paper in half (we used A3), then open out again. Paint your black body first (for younger children, I would do this for them.) Paint on one half of the paper- babies can use hands and fingers- it doesn’t matter…and it doesn’t matter if some goes on the other side. Fold in half and press down. Open out to reveal your butterfly!
